A system producing heavy snow in the central mountains arrives in SE Colorado overnight Sunday into Monday bringing moisture, windy conditions and colder temperatures. Snow showers will be possible across the I-25 corridor to start the day. This system will produce bands of snow through the day Monday. Areas under these bands will see periods of heavy snowfall which, with windy conditions, could create travel difficulties. The Colorado Division of Insurance recently approved an average
statewide ``loss costs'' decrease of six-point-one percent.
It will take effect January First.
The money is what it costs to cover losses and makes up a large
part of an employer's insurance premium.
It will be the third decrease since 2001. Loss costs dropped an
average of ten percent last year.
