Insurance Premiums

The Colorado Division of Insurance recently approved an average
statewide ``loss costs'' decrease of six-point-one percent.

It will take effect January First.
The money is what it costs to cover losses and makes up a large
part of an employer's insurance premium.

It will be the third decrease since 2001. Loss costs dropped an
average of ten percent last year.

The Rocky Mountain Insurance Information Association says
Colorado is now one of the best states in the country for workers'
compensation insurance.
