A Larimer County woman infected with West Nile virus has become the state's sixth person to die from the mosquito-borne virus this year.
The woman died at McKee Medical Center in Loveland.
State epidemiologist John Pape would not release the woman's name or age, and did not say when the woman died.
Colorado has been the state hardest hit by West Nile, with 195 confirmed human cases.
