The Colorado State Fair is taking no chances about the risk of West Nile virus to fair visitors.
The fair, which has already been spraying the fairgrounds with
insecticide, will be selling towlettes soaked in insect repellant
for one dollar.
The towlettes are a cooperative effort between the Colorado
State Fair and the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce.
The fair opens Saturday.
Heather Maio, director of environmental health for the Pueblo
City-County Health Department, said the towlettes are a good backup
for people who may have forgotten to bring repellant.
