Why The Video Looks Shaky (Don Ward)

For months, hundreds of soldiers with the 3rd Brigade Combat Team have been deployed as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Now, many of their fellow soldiers who are still at Fort Carson, are preparing to join them in Iraq. These troops are also members of the 3BCT. They will replace soldiers who are due to get out of their military service, either through discharge or retirement.
On Friday, the replacement soldiers began their combat training. Many of them are cooks, mechanics or drivers. So it's important that they have the combat skills they might need while serving in Iraq.
When their training is complete and transportation is available, the soldiers will head overseas.
As these soldiers prepare to leave, other troops are headed for home. Sometime this weekend, members of the 43rd Area Support Group are scheduled to come to home.
