Postal Rates Increase

Mailing a letter is getting a little more expensive.

The price of a First-Class stamp is rising $0.03 Monday to $0.37.
That's for the first ounce. The cost of each additional ounce remains at $0.23.

Other rates are going up as well. The cost of mailing a postcard goes up $0.02, to $0.23, while priority mail goes up to $3.85 a pound.

Express mail will now cost $13.65 for eight ounces.
