Air Force Academy Drug Charges

Three more senior cadets at the U.S. Air Force Academy now face drug charges, bringing the total number of cadets charged with drug offenses to six. A half dozen or more other cadets face punishment for drinking under age or violating other alcohol rules.

Cadet John Paul Doolin is charged with three counts of using
Ecstasy, psychodellic mushrooms and Ketamine. He's also charged with distributing pills containing an Ecstasy derivative.

James M. Long is accused of lying about the illegal use of drugs as well as using cocaine himself.

Shane T. Thomas is charged with two counts of using Ketamine and Ecstasy, and with threatening another cadet.

Dates for Article 32 hearings have not yet been set.
