A power outage that swept through part of Colorado Springs is over as of Saturday night.
It happened in the early evening hours. According to Police, a few hundred residents had no electricity for about an hour.
The effected areas were with-in the boundaries of, Constitution, MarkSheffel, Peterson and Cimarron Hills. Mountain View Electric was the power company that handled the situation.
The power outage was also responsible for at least one traffic accident due to street lights being out.
The power company is not sure what caused the power outage.
