Colorado Springs Police are reporting that two people have died in a car vs. motorcycle accident.

Police say it happened around 3:30 Sunday afternoon at the intersection of North Circle and Lelaray. Police say that a motorcycle with two riders may have rear ended a car. Both people on the motorcycle were declared dead at the scene of the crash.

The driver of the motorcycle has been identified as 23-year-old Joshua Saucedo. Alcohol is believed to be an additional factor in the accident. Saucedo was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash however police say it was left un-strapped.

The passenger of the motorcycle is identified as 19-year-old Lei Mamo. Police say she also was not wearing her helmet properly.

N. Circle was shut down near Leleray for several hours Sunday as police completed their investigation.

I totally agree. Details need not be shared. I was there doing what I could while my husband worked with traffic before another tragedy occured! And none of them stopped, neither did any of the 20 or so onlookers from the store try to help! Anyway, a day has not gone by since, that I have not thought about these 2 and been in prayer for their families. I will always remember that beautiful girls face and am so glad to have a name to put with it. I have not seen an obit yet but would love to know if any services will be held here in the Springs. My condolences to the families and may the peace of God that passes all understanding be with you through this rough time.
