Wednesday will offer more cloud cover and cooler temperatures. By later Wednesday afternoon, rain showers will develop across the Pikes Peak Region and slowly drift southward. Those rain showers will change to snow at higher elevations, and accumulations will be likely. At lower elevations, snow accumulation does not appear to be a big deal. Forecast details can be found under the "Weather" tab.

Near record warm temperatures delayed the planned opening for
two weeks, and made snowmaking impractical until last weekend.
At least a half-dozen Colorado resorts are making snow this
week, including Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, Breckenridge, Winter Park
and Copper Mountain.
Arapahoe Basin had been racing Loveland for first-opening honors
using snowmaking equipment installed last summer. But the ski area
later conceded victory to the more seasoned Loveland crew on the
other side of Loveland Pass.
Copper Mountain will open Friday.
