A second disturbance will bring another round of snow showers to the Front Range this afternoon and early evening. While not as heavy as yesterday, some additional light accumulations over the higher terrain will be possible, including Teller and Northern El Paso Counties. Highs in the 30s and 40s will feel colder when factoring a blustery northwest wind. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...
A little baby fat can be cut but a new study says many toddlers are on the track to obesity.
The study, commissioned by baby-food maker Gerber, finds some toddlers eat too much fat, sugar, and salt and too few fruits and vegetables before their second birthday.
As part of the study, telephone interviews were conducted randomly asking caregivers what their toddler ate that day.
More than 3000 were having french fries, pizza, candy, and soda on a daily basis.
Dietitians say children between the ages of 1 and 2 need only about 950 calories a day but the median intake was more than 12 hundred calories.
