Air Force Academy Changes

By  |

Brigadier General Johnny Weida says the Academy
adopted the new policy because the hospital staff has the expertise
and experience to handle such cases.

Weida and Lieutenant General John Rosa spoke with
reporters this morning as the class of 2005 neared the end of basic
training.

Rosa is the academy's new superintendent. He's promised to keep
the public informed about alleged sexual assaults at the academy.

Rosa says two alleged incidents have been reported since he
arrived, as well as attacks previously unreported this year.
