The Federal Emergency Management Agency has authorized sing federal funds to help fight a fire near Fort Collins.

The Cloudy Pass fire in Rist Canyon is burning on about 60 acres this morning.

The blaze forced residents of 15 homes to evacuate yesterday, but they were allowed home last night.

The lightning-caused blaze destroyed an abandoned cabin and two all-terrain vehicles yesterday.

Authorities warned residents to be ready to leave again at a moment's notice.

Wildfires are burning on about eleven thousand acres in Colorado.
