A 4-year-old girl was among the two people injured in a rollover Tuesday morning on the east side of Colorado Springs.
The rollover was reported at Avondale and South Carefree Circle, near Murray and Carefree, around 8:30 a.m.
According to police at the scene, the 4-year-old was not "properly restrained" at the time of the crash. The driver, who is also the mom of the little girl, tells us her daughter was wearing a seatbelt, but she was not in a booster seat.
The driver says she was cut off and she swerved to avoid hitting the other driver and rolled her vehicle.
