Alcohol To Blame For Serious Traffic Accident on Powers Blvd.
Colorado Springs Police say Powers Blvd. was closed between Palmer Park and Galley due to a rollover accident until 1:30 am.

Colorado Springs Police say Powers Blvd. was closed between Palmer Park and Galley due to a rollover accident until 1:30 am.

Police say alcohol was involved.

Emergency responders were called out to North Powers Boulevard for a 2 car collision. Police say the southbound driver crossed the center median colliding with the car in the northbound lane.

Only drivers were in each car, the victims have been taken to the hospital, the extent of their injuries is unknown but believed to be serious.

Powers Blvd. has reopened in both directions as of 1:30am.
