Authorities in Colorado Springs say a house fire last winter that killed three children and injured their father was arson. Eleven-year-old Jay Nicholls and his sisters -- three-year-old Sierra and five-year-old Sophia -- died March seventh of smoke inhalation and burns.
The determination now makes those three deaths homicides. Investigators with the Colorado Springs Fire Department have not released many details about the early morning fire -- and they say they still are tracking the exact cause of the blaze.
