The Moffat County Sheriff's Office says weather may have played a role in the crash of a single-engine plane that claimed two lives near the Wyoming border.
Oilfield workers in Sweetwater County, Wyoming witnessed the crash.
Sheriff's sergeant Rick Holford said high winds and rain were reported in the area at the time of the crash yesterday afternoon.
The coroner has not made a positive identification of the two victims.
The plane was en route from Oakland, California to Lincoln, Nebraska. Its last stop was Fairfield, Utah.
