A young woman is under arrest Thursday after a nasty three-car crash Wednesday night that closed Austin Bluffs Parkway for hours.

It left one car flipped over in the middle of Austin Bluffs Parkway, near the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs campus.

Colorado Springs police say a Toyota Camry, driven by 20-year-old Kylie Idleman was heading eastbound on Austin Bluffs just before 9:30 p.m. Wednesday when she lost control of her car, jumped the median into the westbound lanes and slammed into a Geo Tracker and a Ford pick-up truck.

The Geo Tracker flipped over after being hit. Police say the driver suffered "serious bodily injury" and was taken to the hospital. His condition Thursday morning is unknown. There is no word on any injuries sustained by the driver of the Ford pick-up.

Idleman was arrested Thursday for suspicion of DUI and vehicular assault.

Emergency crews were on the scene for hours Wednesday night cleaning up the scene and re-open Austin Bluffs Parkway. The crash is still under investigation.
