After a very dry 4th of July last year, fireworks are making a comeback.
A statewide ban was in place last summer, during the major fire danger.
But that ban has been lifted. Fireworks are legal in El Paso and Pueblo county, outside of city limits.
Large fireworks shows will be held at Memorial Park and Pikes Peak International Raceway, just to name a couple.
Even though we have had lots of moisture lately, fire officials warn that you should still be very careful when shooting off fireworks, and keep a bucket of water handy.
