USOC Reform Meeting Held

Two high-ranking officials have met in Switzerland to resolve differences over proposed reforms of the U.S. Olympic Committee. International Olympic Committee president Jacques Rogge met with Donald Fehr, the co-chairman of a Senate task force on USOC reforms.

They were accompanied by commission member and former USOC executive director Harvey Schiller. The IOC has expressed concern that some of the reforms would violate provisions of the Olympic Charter, which is the IOC's global rule book. Today's meeting lasted two hours. Talks are expected to continue next week.

No details have been released. The Colorado Springs-based USOC has been plagued by a series of ethics scandals, resignations and political turf battles.
