Despite recent layoffs and other economic setbacks, a new study indicates that Colorado Springs businesses may be in a "hiring" mood. The latest Manpower Employment Outlook Survey finds that 40% of companies interviewed plan to hire more workers between July and September.
This means Colorado Springs has one of the top ten best job market outlooks in the nation for the third quarter, according to Manpower spokesperson Carmen Molitor.
Manpower expects the most jobs will be in areas of Durable and Non-Durable Goods Manufacturing, Transportation/Public Utilities, Wholesale/Retail Trades and Services.
