Updated: 05/20/2013 - Two weekends left to catch one great show!
The Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad had a successful opening weekend. Officials say trips aboard the steam powered locomotive were sold out both Saturday and Sunday.
The 64 mile narrow gauge line runs between Chama, New Mexico, and Antonito, Colorado.
At this same time last year, because of the danger of fire in the high country, the railroad was shut down.
The company that operates the line for the two states lost about
$1.5 million because of the month long closure.
