Resolution FAQ - (Stacia Naquin)
Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
Don Ortega walked into City Hall with an unloaded shotgun. When he got inside, he asked if he could check his weapon and volunteered to disassemble it. He then proceeded to Council Chambers and sat down with the gun next to him.
Three squad cars and a number of officers showed up at City Hall after hearing that a man was walking through the area with a gun. They didn't do anything though, because what Ortega did is not illegal.
Ortega says he carries the gun for personal protection.
