Hart Trophy Winner

Colorado Avalanche star Peter Forsberg was named NHL MVP Thursday night.

Forsberge led the league in scoring for the Northwest Division Champions.

Martin Brodeur is a winner again, three days after leading the New Jersey Devils to the Stanley Cup.

The Devils netminder received the Vezina Trophy as the N-H-L's top goaltender in the regular season.

Brodeur was nosed out by Anaheim's Jean-Sebastien Giguere for the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff MVP Monday despite posting a record seven shutouts. Brodeur ended the seaso with a 3-to-0 shutout win over the Ducks. the 2002-2003 regular season.

Detroit's Nicklas Lidstrom won the Norris Trophy again. He's the first player to win the award three straight years since Bobby Orr captured his eighth straight in 1975.

Barrett Jackman of the St. Louis Blues is the Calder Trophy winner as the top rookie.

Minnesota's Jacques Lemaire took the Jack Adams Award as the coach of the year.
