ROCHESTER, Minn. (AP) -- Mayo Clinic officials say the 93-year-old Ford flew from Minnesota home to Rancho Mirage, California.
Ford received an implantable cardiac pacemaker to regulate his heartbeat and then underwent angioplasty with stints in two coronary arteries to increase blood flow. The clinic official says Ford is doing well.
Ford spent a few days in the Vail Valley Medical Center in Colorado last month because of shortness of breath. He became the nation's oldest living former president after the death of Ronald Reagan in 2004.
