A two hour delay still wouldn't have done any good. The snow got worse and the temps dropped. If your going to complain about something you know you have to live with, then keep your complaints to yourself. Better yet, why not leave to Southern Cal and enjoy the weather there. But, then you have all the polution, overpopulation, and heavy traffic to deal with. Suck it up!

Agree that there should have been a two hour delay...the roads were horrible, cautious driving was not enough. And KKTV should check their facts...we came upon the accident at 7:15, well before schools were in session, so Canon, CMJH, and CMHS were all affected as a major route to all three schools was closed, causing back ups on all other routes.

We were in backed up traffic for an hour due to these accidents after avoiding sideways sliding and standing cars on 115, thinking we are lucky and make it to school...not so.... I doubt that this route didn't affect school, not a delay but missing students. Due to black ice under the snow, they should have had a two hour delay! That would have saved a lot of headaches, insurance money and higher premiums for those students involved that were driving. Some of them kindly walked up the hill and informed us, who were waiting a long time in traffic, about what is going on and that there is no way through. We finally turned around and went home. Even the snow plow didn't get there on that hill to ease the situation at the time....
