If you've been waiting for the speed limit to go up along I-25 in Colorado Springs, you're in luck. 11 News has learned it should happen this weekend.

The Colorado Department of Transportation decided awhile back to raise the limit from 55 to 65 after doing studying the flow of traffic during the end of the summer.

The speed limit will change along I-25 from the Nevada/Tejon exit to North Academy on Sunday morning. Engineers were just waiting for the signs to be made.

Quote "If you've been waiting for the speed limit to go up along I-25 in Colorado Springs, you're in luck". Regardless of whether you agree or disagree with the "new" speed limit (which is 10 mph less than most people drive there) to say that "you're in luck" shows how stupid so called "journalists" can be. Apparently the writers don't understand impartiality.

get your crash helmets ready - people will be driving 80 mph until enough people die and then it will be lowered again
