Champ Bailey dislocated his elbow on the second play of the season finale in San Diego. Bailey continued to play through the pain the rest of the game but will now miss 3-4 months after surgery.

According to reports Bailey's elbow was popped back into place so he could return for the rest of the game. It didn't do much good as the Bronco defense was lit up by the Chargers for 52 points. Bailey finished the game with seven tackles.

The injury is said to be similar to the one suffered by Broncos rookie back Ryan Torain, who was out three months. Bailey should be able to compete in mini-camp by May and isn't expected to be full strength by training camp.

Champ Bailey's newest injury just reinforces the sad state of the Broncos defense .. not only does Denver need a coach but most definitley needs a whole new approach and strategy for their defense.. Can you say rebuild ???
