Pueblo police confirm Centennial High School was evacuated just before 9 a.m. Thursday morning due to fear of a gas leak.
The Pueblo Fire Department tells 11 News that the fear of a gas leak came from many students getting sick. Fire officials evacuated the building to investigate the possible leak.
No gas leaks were found and all students are back in school.
11 News spoke to students at the school who said they decided to leave school for the day but they were not required to do so.
