Police in Littleton have arrested the brother of a 13-year-old girl whose body was found in the family's garage during a fire earlier this summer.
The 15-year-old teen faces charges of first degree arson and reckless manslaughter. He is being held at the Arapahoe County Juvenile Assessment Center without bond. Police say charges against the boy are set to be filed on Friday.
Sergeant Sean Dugan says investigators believe the boy started the garage fire on June 7 to hide the Jessica Meyer's death. Firefighters found her body when they responded to the blaze. Police believe the siblings had an argument at home, which led to Meyer's death.
The house remains sealed. Family members have not moved back into the house.
