After a mild Saturday, temperatures to finish the weekend will be MUCH colder! A system to our west pushes into SE Colorado overnight. Snow showers will be possible by early Sunday morning across the I-25 corridor with a change to rain and snow showers through the afternoon. Accumulation should be minimal as most moisture looks to be light and temperatures will warm into the upper 30s and 40s through the afternoon. The main impact will be the cold along with winds gusting up to 40 mph at times. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...
Denver Broncos superfan the Barrel Man has sold his Super Bowl XXXII barrel for $46,100.
The auction for the Denver Broncos memorabilia, autographed by the team after winning the Super Bowl against the Green Bay Packers, ended Tuesday afternoon on online auction site eBay. The starting bid for the item, which has been adorned by the Tim McKernan at football games, was at $9,999.
McKernan says the bidding didn't go as high as he thought it would, but he's happy with the result. He auctioned the barrel because he could no longer pay storage and insurance fees.
McKernan says he'll donate ten percent of the proceeds to the Jubilee House in Gunnison, an emergency shelter serving domestic violence and sexual assault victims.
