A Colorado climber and three others have been rescued from Mount McKinley in Alaska.

Park rangers say 28-year-old Camilo Lopez of Longmont, Colorado, was hypothermic, dehydrated and suffering from altitude sickness.

A special high-altitude helicopter flew above the 19-thousand-foot level and hovered while Lopez strapped himself into a rescue basket.

He was taken to a base camp, then to a hospital in Anchorage.

His condition is unknown.

Park rangers say Lopez's climbing partners, Peter Hoffman and Jan Markup were also weak from a long night spent at high altitudes. Both are from the Czech Republic.

A fourth climber was pulled from the 14-thousand-200-foot level.
