Friends of Sean Kennedy remember the big goofy smile and outgoing man, who was shot to death Sunday.
Sean was shot and killed after police say he tried to enter a home. Friends say, that the home shares the same number address of his own home, which is a block away. They say he'd been drinking and was probably just confused.
Derek Bower and Tim Chandler have known Sean for years. They describe Sean as being able to light up a room.
Derek says, "he(Sean) was just an incredible person. There are just no words to describe how good of person Sean actually was."
They say Sean had a big goofy grin and a laugh that could be heard from yards away. They say that Sean had dreams of being a pro golfer and of owning a ranch one day where he can hunt and fish.
Derek and Tim sit around a table sharing stories of Sean, in between tears and laughter. Derek remembers how Sean drove 2 and a half hours, late at night, to see Derek's brand new baby boy. Tim talks of a fishing trip they took together. Both, heartbroken, that there will be no new memories with Sean.
Despite the pain Derek and Tim are dealing with, both say they don't blame the man who shot Sean. They say that there's still a lot of information that still needs to come out, but if it turns out that Sean was really trying to force his way into a home, they understand why the man did what he did.

Sean Kennedy, 22, of Colorado was shot and killed after police say he tried to enter a home. Friends say that the home shares the same number address of his own home, which is a block away. They say he'd been drinking and was probably just confused. I think from the home owners point he had the right to shoot Sean even though he had mixed up house. Sean was clearly intoxicated and had broken a window in the back trying to gain access to the lock on the back door. I just imagine what was going through the owners head when a random person is just coming up to there door trying to get in, if I was in this situation I would of probably of shot him to. As for Sean though it was just a mix-up of houses and the effect of the alcohol (which his B.A.C. was .24), if he would of not have drank with his buddies this problem would have not escaladed as far as it did. So I do not think the home owner should be charged with anything because it was all just self- defense and a accident on both pae
We are so sorry about what happened, but feel the same way the family feels, we would all do the same.
No these arn't the same people who where out with Sean that night but I am sure they would have done something if they were. I am sure that the people that were out with him feel just sick about what happened but it isn't their fault. And lets not point blame or say who is at fault because thats why it's called an accident. Even if it did cost life of a great man. And NEIGHBOR I am sure that no one wants to use him as an example for anything, but to remeber that he let a great great life and made a bad mistake.
