U.S.O.C. Leaving?

Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell says he'll fight to keep the U-S Olympic Committee headquarters in Colorado Springs.

Senators working on legislation aimed at reforming the scandal-plagued Olympic committee have rejected Campbell's efforts to ensure the headquarters and training center stay in Colorado.

Campbell says he has been approached by fellow Republican Senators John McCain, of Arizona, and Ted Stevens, of Alaska, about
support to relocate the center.

McCain -- chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee -- hopes to have U.S.O.C. reforms in place by August.

Senators are trying to make changes to the Olympic committee, which over the past three years has had four chief executives and three presidents.
