Denver cameraman Jake Norton and guide Michael Brown of Boulder, also reached the summit with the contestants.
Luis Benitaz is an Alpine Adventures International guide from Boulder. He reached the summit for the third time, along with fellow Coloradan Jean Michel Valette and 12 other team members.
Some 50 current or former Coloradans have reached the summit of the 29-thousand-35-foot Everest, making up the largest number from any region outside of Nepal and Great Britain.
