Close to 50 kids were celebrating Christmas a little early Saturday night.
A flight to the North Pole took off from the Colorado Springs Airport, and landed on the other side of the terminal, delivering the kids right to a gate decorated like a neighborhood in Santa's North Pole.

Jolly Saint Nick greeted his fans and listened to some last minute Christmas wishes.

Community Partnership of Child Development works with kids who live below the poverty level or have an identified special need.

The Colorado Springs Junior League and Sky West Airlines also teamed up with CPCD for this perennial Christmas favorite.
