Family members of 22-year-old Ashley Johnson, who was killed by the blast that leveled parts of the Pueblo historic downtown district, talked with 11 news during a candlelight vigil.

April and William Johnson, Ashley’s siblings, huddled around a single picture of their sister as candles surrounded its’ frame on the corner of Victoria and C Street. Dozens of others joined in. Some with candles in hand, others just bowing their heads remembering, and grieving.

April and William Johnson described their sister as a kind, genuine woman who was happy with where she was in her life. They said they were shocked at how many people came to remember their sister. Some people they didn’t even know.

A somber night not only for those closest to Ashley, but for her best friend Jennifer Flowers who was also injured in the blast. They both worked together at A Classic Boutique before it was destroyed by the blast that shocked the city.

Flowers was taken to Parkview Medical Center and then to a Denver area hospital. She is reported to be okay.

Three other victims were treated and released from Parkview. Another was taken to Saint Mary Corwin hospital in Pueblo. No word on that person's condition.

I hope and pray for the Johnson family...I work at RMS and got off work at 1:30 that day...I had no idea that the Branch was gone until a roommate called to see if I was ok...I not only hope and pray for the Johnson family, but for all the families and persons who were either at the Branch at the time of the incident or near it...god bless and take care
