Fire at Big-O Tires

Fire crews were able to contain a small fire at a Big-O Tires Monday night. Officials say an automatic fire alarm alerted them.
Crews say the fire was isolated to just a waste-oil furnace, and that smoke built up inside the unit, setting off the alarm. Hazmat crews were called to the scene because of the number of tires at the store, but the area was quickly determined to be secure.
No cause has been determined in the fire.
