The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says up to two inches of rain fell overnight near the West Creek Subdivision, and a preliminary survey indicated three homes were lost.

Spokeswoman Cocha Heyden said there were no reports of injuries or anyone missing or stranded. The area is near where the largest wildfire in state history burned in 2002.

Heyden said repairs had been made on a bridge, allowing residents of the West Creek Subdivision to return to their homes. Repairs on Highway 67 were expected to take three days.
