Former Secretary of State Colin Powell was briefly hospitalized in Aspen this morning after falling ill at a restaurant where he was dining with former President Clinton and others
Aspen police Sergeant Bill Linn says he spoke with Powell while he was in the hospital under observation.
He says the four-star general told him it appeared to be a combination of altitude sickness and something he ate.
He was released at 1:45 A-M.
Powell, who's attending the Aspen Ideas Festival, was taken Aspen Valley, the same hospital where Enron founder Ken Lay was pronounced dead on Wednesday.
