A closer look at newly drawn congressional district boundaries in Colorado is leading to even more outrage among Democrats.

Former Seventh Congressional District candidate Mike Feeley says he's been removed from the district he came close to representing last year. Former Democratic state Senator Ed Perlmutter has also been cut out of the district. He was considered a strong potential candidate last year.

Feeley says it's no coincidence. He says Republicans purposely eliminated areas where potential challengers to Representative Bob Beauprez reside. Beauprez won the 7th Congressional District seat by just 121votes over Feeley last November.

Colorado Republican Party chairman Ted Halaby says Democrats are being paranoid.
