DJs Back on Air

Two Colorado Springs radio personalities suspended after playing Dixie Chicks music will return to the air Thursday.

Dave Moore and Jeff Singer of K-K-C-S F-M were suspended
yesterday after locking themselves inside the studio and playing
the group's music nonstop for nearly six hours.

General manager Jerry Grant says listeners had asked the station
to pull the Dixie Chicks two months ago after lead singer Natalie
Maines criticized President Bush.

Moore and Singer were suspended for violating company policy
against locking out other employees, and for playing an unapproved
block of music.

Grant says the repercussions would have been the same regardless
of the artist.

The station says the Dixie Chicks are now back on the air by
popular demand.
