The Department of Defense has announced the death of another soldier from Fort Carson.

24-year-old Sergeant Michael Clark was killed in Iraq on October 7th, 2008. He died during a small arms fire attack.

Sergeant Clark was originally from Sacramento, California and was stationed at Fort Carson. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division.
