Believe it or not, the Colorado Lottery is seeing a lot of green.
It seems more people are scrambling for ways to make a little cash as America trudges through an economic crisis.
These days, buying a lotto ticket is becoming more popular, and it’s not just Powerball. All aspects of the Colorado Lottery, including scratch offs,Cash Five and the Lotto, are all seeing big numbers this year.
Colorado Lottery games have brought in just over 124 million dollars in the first quarter of 2008. This, a 4.2 percent increase from last year.
It seems Coloradans are spending an extra few bucks on the off chance of instant fortune.
