The Colorado State Patrol says several rockslides are slowing traffic on Interstate 25 just south of Trinidad.

One car has wrecked. No word on injuries.

Authorities say the first one happened around 2:30 Saturday afternoon. There are no lanes closures right now, but several crews are on scene trying to get the rocks out of the northbound lanes.

If you are heading in or out of Trinidad, expect major delays.

We were traveling from Raton Saturday afternoon and the rain was coming down in sheets. A huge boulder roller a head of us about 20 or 30 ft., we were swerving from the many rocks on the highway. A red car had passed us ging kind of fast and later a head of us it was pulled over with a flat. I don't know if it hit a large rock or ran over one but his car seemed unable to travel. There was rocks and boulders rolling down all over the place and the rain was very heavy. It eas a scary ordeal.
