A dozen Colorado Springs blind students got an opportunity that they never thought they would have. They learned how to drive a car. It was with a little help though. Masterdrive instructors were there to tell the blind drivers exactly what to do every step of the way.

From a slalom course, to the skid pad, the blind drivers did it all.
Terry Garrett, a blind UCCS student says that driving is a lot of fun, but it also shows him, and other blind people, that they can do anything.

The owner of Masterdrive, Ronn Langford, has done this for the past 6 or 7 years and he says the instructors get just as much out of this as the students. And he is happy to help blind students gain confidence and satisfaction after being able to drive a car.
