Colorado Springs Police bust another methamphetamine lab. This marks the 64th meth lab they've discovered just this year. And that's 16 more than during the same period last year.
Police say they were tipped off to a possible lab at 1522 Manitou Boulevard, just off 17th and Uintah. After obtaining a warrant, the tactical enforcement unit searched the home and found items consistent with the production of methamphetamine.
They arrested two adults, and took a two year old child living in the home to the Department of Human Services.
Police were also investigating three possible mobile meth labs in the city on Monday.
