There will be increased security at schools on Fort Carson after three employees at an elementary school on post were threatened.
Fort Carson would not release any details about the nature of threats or who might have made them, but did acknowledge that they were increasing security measures at all schools, as well as the gates to get on post.
"This is a precautionary measure to ensure everyone's safety," the Mountain Post said in a statement Thursday. "Parents will be kept informed."
The employees work for Weikel Elementary School.
