Pueblo police have arrested three in connection to a bank robbery Tuesday.
Police have identified the suspects as 29-year-old Christopher Nelson, 33-year-old Tanya West and 34-year-old Chad Shepard. According to the police department, these three planned and carried out the Feb. 4 robbery.
Police say that at 4:30 p.m. that day, a masked man entered the Canon National Bank and demanded money. After employees complied, he left in an older-model Chevy pickup.
Investigators later determined that the pickup truck had been at the bank earlier that day, driven by a different man. Officers obtained the license plate. Two days later, on Feb. 6, officers executed a search warrant at a home on the 3000 block of Winnipeg. Police say a number of items related to the bank robbery were found.
The three suspects were booked into the Pueblo County Jail on charges of aggravated robbery. All are being held on bonds between $100,000 and $250,000.
