One more person is asking for your vote this November. It's a local woman. She lives in Rye, CO and she's looking to win $100,000. The money would be used to build a hospice facility in the Green Horn Mountain area. Linda Batts wants to do it in honor of her late daughter, Michelle.

Batts is a mother of four. She lost her oldest child to breast cancer 2-years ago in 2006. Batts herself battled breast cancer 10-years earlier and beat it. Her wish now is to fulfill her daughter Michelle's dream, and that's to build The Rye Angel House.

"She leaves me pennies all the time. She's my angel," said Batts. Batts of course is talking about her beloved daughter, Michelle.

Linda says she has a vision that would have Michelle smiling down from heaven. "I want so many glass windows so that each patient could see the mountains and the valley," said Batts.

She wants to build it right beside the luscious hills of the Green Horn Mountain which is right next to her own home. It would be a place where terminally ill patients can go to take their last breathes. "It's for people who are from here and love the valley. They want to die here," said Batts.

Batts is one of five finalists in the Wells Fargo Bank Someday Stories Contest. All five contestants have already won $10,000, but that covers only the liability insurance for one year for Batts' hospice facility.

Her plan is to make it a not-for-profit facility. She doesn't want to turn anyone away, and doesn't want to turn her back on her late daughter's dream. "It rocked my world when I lost her. I had a really tough time getting past that. Something positive has got to come out of this," said Batts.

Batts says she's going to build The Rye Angel House with, or without winning the $100,000, but would be ever so grateful if she won. "Please, please vote for this. This would be a miracle," said Batts.

The deadline to vote on-line is November 10TH.
