Court documents, obtained by 11 News, spell new details in the death of a 4-year-old girl. Extensive internal injuries claimed her life. Her mother's boyfriend is charged with the murder. Now that mother wants answers.

Tamyrill Randall had eight broken ribs and a liver torn in two, according to the El Paso County Coroner’s Office. She was murdered over the weekend in Security.

The suspect's brother and the little girl's mother spoke with 11 News. They say they had no idea Tristan Price was locked up for murder. They thought he was arrested for domestic violence.

"I just want to figure out what happened to my daughter," said Tanesa Randall, Tamyrill’s mother.

"I don't have any answers. Other people know more about the results of my daughter's autopsy than me."

According to court documents, Tamyrill died from some kind of severe trauma. The coroner has even suggested the injuries could have happened when someone stomped on the child. The documents said that could cause the 4-year-old's ribs to crack and her liver to split open. She also had a bite mark on her shoulder blade.

El Paso County Sheriff detectives said the suspect, Tristan Price, was supposed to be taking care of her. He told cops he found Tamyrill was unresponsive and tried to revive her in the shower. Then, he called 9-1-1.

Price's brother, Michael, said Tristan would have no reason to harm the girl. "I want to get to the bottom of it regardless of the evidence. At least, if it’s presented and shows that he did do this, I will be fine and able to get closure," said Michael.

Also according to the documents, the sheriff's office noted they found records that Tristan Price had been investigated in the past for abusing the same little girl when two bite marks were apparently found her chest. No charges were ever filed. In that same arrest affidavit, Tanesa Randall admitted to cops that her boyfriend would bite her when he's angry.

"I want justice as well. Whoever did this, I want them to pay for the consequences," said Tanesa.

He had bit the mother before, how could she not know he would do it to her children. The mother is as big of a POS as that animal she allowed to murder her daughter. She should definately be in jail too.She will just go to another abusive relationship and put her remaining children in danger too.At the LEAST forced sterilization for her.Gee she sure is put together and calm for being the mom of a dead baby...so sad.

Lauri Martin does the best job reporting on crime. We are lucky to have her in the Springs...she probably won't be here much longer. The networks have taken notice from what I hear. Anyways, she always does such a great job and gives us all the pertinent details in such a short amount of time. Great job covering this tragedy, Lauri. To the Mom - shame on you. Shame on you for not showing ANY remorse just days after your baby girl was killed by your drug abusing, pedafile, murdering, poor excuse for a man LOSER! "Dead man walking..." These two "critters of our community" MUST GO!!!!
